I've finished my corpse cart and a few of my skeleton warriors already, but I forgot them at my dad's house. Though I did get around to finishing my Skeleton Champion today. For the most part I'm aiming for an overall blueish theme for my army as I'm tired of looking at the constant red I see for this army everywhere.

So I've finally gotten around to taking pictures of my zombie regiment and posting them. Essentially to paint them I used the same technique that I used for my corpse cart zombies, that is basecoat of rotting flesh followed by a wash. Not all of them look as good as the others as in the beggining I was still trying to balance how intense I wanted the rotting flesh to be, and how intense I wanted the wash to be. In the end, not the best painted models but I'm still proud of them, and I still have another regiment to paint sometime, and time to improve.

Its been a long time since my last post but I've finally gotten around to finishing up some more of the corpse cart. All of the zombies on the corpse cart i painted the same, with a rotting flesh basecoat and then washed with a random colour. Also I wanted to make the eyes look as though they were glowing as well as the necromancer's because it would make it look as though he had actually resurrected them and is now controlling them. This is the first time I've ever tried a technique like this, so the eyes still need some work but I think they turned out quite well.

Vampire Counts 3000 Point Army List

I realized the other day that I'd never actually put up my planned army list for my Vampire Counts. Its 3000 points, which is a bit of a stretch for my first army, but I'm not much of a player of Warhammer, I'm much more interested in the modelling and the painting aspect of the hobby, so I simply wanted to make a list of all the models I really liked. I also realize that it ends up being quite pointless to sit down and write up this army list, but I really wanted to give myself some structure as I was worried I might just lose interest as I have before with other armies.

Corpse Cart Part 1

These are the first pictures that I took of my corpse cart, I stupidly glued the whole thing together instead of painting it in pieces. This model came as part of the Vampire Counts Battalion, and so far the only thing that I've painted so far has been my first Zombie Regiment. My skeletons haven't even been glued yet, and I'm not sure what happened to my ghouls though I don't even want them as I loathe the models. Also I've got another zombie regiment, 2 black knights, 20 grave guard, and a black coach on the waiting list.

I need to bring my models between houses, which is why the lanterns are so horribly bent unfortunately. As you can probably tell I'm not an amazing painter by any stretch of the imagination.
